TREVOR BRISTOW | OWNER/OPERATOR

Bowen Island raised. It’s coming up on 40 years on Bowen Island and plumbing for the past 20+ years. Trevor started plumbing at the age of 17 and became a journeyman plumbing at 21 years old. He had always planned on owning a company with a focus on people over profit. The company is set up for it’s employees to work Monday-Thursday focusing on longer efficient days, leaving them Friday-Sunday off for a nice work life balance. On weekends Trevor is often found catching up on work, working on pricing, organizing the shop, maintaining vehicles and focusing on his family. During spare time you might see him out on the water fishing.

Hobbies: Fishing, biking and watching my kids play sports

Favourite Aspect of Work: Picking up and dropping off my employees by boat daily. Can’t say no to boating.

Plumbing With a Challenge: The most expensive poop around. This one time I was working in a remote camp. The above ground treatment plant was broken so in order to repair we needed to empty it. Which meant we pumped the contents into 1 cubic meter water totes and helicoptered them off the mountain. Talk about expensive crap! I think I have at least one plumbing horror story a year.
